Anika Noni is a famous American performer and actress. Her best-known role is as Tiana, Disney's first African American princess. She was recognized as an official Disney Legend. Rose was in the role of Lorrell Robertson on Dreamgirls, which won the Academy Award. Anika Noni Rose is an American actor, performer and model. Her most well-known role is as Tiana the first Disney African American princess in The Princess and the Frog (2009). Disney Legend was bestowed upon her in 2011. The same year, she was recognized by her part in Dreamgirls (2006) in which she earned the Academy Award for Best Picture. In the Starz show Power she played the character LaVerne Jukebox Ganner. Apart from her acting work, she's known for the roles she was in the theatre.
